Federal duck stamp

Just received 2020-2021 Federal duck stamp, went on sale June 25! Some have criticized the BBWD painting, but i think it is fine. Have shot fulvous before but not blackbellies! Year i was born, 1954, of course it was a ringneck duck! Happy coincidence!

Re: Federal duck stamp

Thanks for the reminder and it is actually a great painting!!

BBWDs saved a few hunts last year as I did not see any other ducks on a few hunts; ended up with 23 last year.

Just made some jerky out of the breasts and soup out of the legs - great eaters!

Would be nice to add them to the early Teal season!!

Re: Federal duck stamp

Great to hear about the bbwd's! Have not been to the big O in several years, that might be my best bet to see them, since i don't do the sta's. Used to see plenty of fulvous in the glades (also woodies) but not anymore, and they were terrific eating birds!
