Re: Suggestions for dog training books/videos

Great thread, glad I found it! Almost two decades since my lab left to the sky marsh. My daughter brought me to tears yesterday. I will be retiring next June God willing, and she knows about this and how I feel about a dog. "We (my wife and her) will get you one". I still have my Wolters book, and thank you for the other suggestions here. Time to read and dream...

Re: Suggestions for dog training books/videos

Bill Hillman (DVD) is excellent, Hey pup Fetch it Up is a great book in addition to the others mentioned. Many ways to train a pup, find what works best for your pup and you.
Best of Luck.
A good dog will get it!
