GSP Breeder

Saw that there's a thread from over a year ago about GSPs so figured it was worth a shot... Can anyone recommend a good GSP breeder or give me advice on the best way to go about finding one? I'm looking to get a pup in the next 4 - 6 months but it will be my first dog since being a (pseudo-) grownup (i.e., my dog versus the family dog) and my first GSP. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions!

Re: GSP Breeder

Gundog forum, or North Florida GSP club. Google either one.

Re: GSP Breeder

There is also Gundogcentral.com, some good breeders on there and some not so good. Find a pup or breeder you like and check it out. Ask for references.

Re: GSP Breeder

Awesome, thank you I will check those out. Should I not entertain the thought of getting a dog from a non-local breeder without a referral from a personal friend?
