Golden Retrievers

If any one hears of any good golden puppies out of hunting stock please let me know. I would like to buy within driving distance so I can see parents etc.

Re: Golden Retrievers

I am in Valrico, just east of Tampa. I would be happy seeing the dam and pic's and info on the sire.
I want a solid hunting dog that is not climbing the walls of the house in the off season. Cannot stand hyper or growly cause we spend a lot more time not hunting than we do in the field unfortunately.
Let me know what you find out and thanks for the reply.

Re: Golden Retrievers

Google Treasure coast retriever club. Find out when they are having their next hunt test. Watch the goldens run. If you see what you are looking for, find out who the breeder is. I have seen some very good goldens at these hunt tests and some very mediocre ones. The real driven ones always seem to be redder and shorter coated. The big blonde fluffy ones never seem to cut it. Just my opinion. Like labs I think goldens are sort of a dual breed, Show dogs and field dogs. Rich
