Re: Frog Spit, Gator Glide, Quick Slick, Steelflex?

Steelflex on a 1436L riveted and really like it!

Been through two seasons and holding up well.

Re: Kohler EFI repair

I’ve seen smaller HP engine gas tanks that have a screw in plastic filter on the outlet hose disintegrate - pretty sure it’s from Ethanol.

Re: Talking turkey

Only saw one hen this morning but lots of tracks - still haven’t heard a gobble yet but the 7 or so miles keeps the heart pumping.

Need that gobble to get the heart pumping without all the...

Re: Talking turkey

Same for mouth calls here and have yet to find a brand I can stick with as they change tone too fast.

Best one to date was chewed up by the dog and didn’t recall the name.

Only weeks away...

Re: Talking turkey

Pretty sure Red Wing is parent to Irish Setter and same company.

Always felt Red Wings had better quality until my last pair fell apart just over a year.

Now I own Irish Setters and have been...

Re: Talking turkey

Didn’t make it but did the same by putting duck gear away. A few more items and then the long wait for early Teal.

Already looking forward to do some scouting before season!!

Re: Stoeger M3500 Camo. New

Love my 3500 and have had zero issues with it - lots of 3” and 2-3/4” and only one box of 3-1/2” ran though it over the past four years

Re: Turkey talk

Well it’s not only duck season that gets jacked up by spraying - I believe they killed all the SAV the turkeys were eating or maybe it was just the noise that pushed them somewhere else.

Re: Turkey talk

I’m hoping to make a wingbone call later this year.

My daughter is ready - 10-yards with a .410, 2-1/2”, #6. After 20-yds it really opens up. May drop in a 3” shell next weekend.

Love...
