Re: Any suggestions

Billy... I am glad I did add them, as I spend most of my time in shallow water, and loosing the plowing was a major goal. It also makes the boat more stable to hunt out of, and a great step to get...

Re: Any suggestions

If your not having any issues with flotation at the stern, or it plowing too much I probably would not suggest pods with a long tail. If a surface drive I would certainly have pods, as I know of guys...

Re: shuckers

Raul G. I love my Cynergy, but I have heard of problems with it fitting shorter shooters. I am 6'2 and it fits me perfectly. I'd bet if your less than about 5'8-10 it would probably be too long and...

Re: shuckers

Started with a Browning. BPS 12, then moved to a Beneli Super Nova (camo), and now shoot a Browning Cynergy OU. I only see one good use for a semi, and that is to keep the ammo companies in...

Re: Any suggestions

I have a Grizzly 1548, and a Backwater 27. Last year I was seeing 14-17 mph depending on load. I added the small Beavertail pods this year. I am consistently running 14.5-15 mph heavy. The speed did...

Re: Which 35 HP LT?

I have a. Backwater 27 and love it. It is very easy to drive, as long as the boat is balanced side to side. If the boat has a lean, then it will pull to the low side and wear you out.
I will...

Re: Pods on a turn buckle?

I have a 27 HP Backwater long tail on mine. I have not really thought about steering, but don't see it being an issue. I am mainly trying to make it quit dragging butt and hopefully gain a step to...

Re: Pods on a turn buckle?

I agree Billy. I just doubt I am the first to think of it, and wondering if anyone has any experience with it. Nothing beats redneck engineering.

Pods on a turn buckle?

I am going to add Beaver tail pods to my roughly 15' Grizzley. I am Considering putting a turn buckle on the top and a hinge in the bottom when I weld them on. This would allow me to adjust them much...

Pro Mag for Sig P229

I mistakenly bought a P229 mag (.40 or .357 S&W) 12 round instead of a P226 mag from Natchez Shooters supply. I paid 39.99 for it, plus shipping and all. Needless to say it won't fit my 226, so if...

Re: Is 6-7 months to old to start training a dog

My lab was ok with fireworks, but got nervous around guns. I bought one of the dummy launchers that uses a .22 blank to throw the dummy. Started with her at a distance, and slowly worked her closer....

Re: 1440 express 23 LT

I would possibly be interested in the boat. I have the same LT except 27 hp. Just would depend on the price. Really would like to move ip to 16 ft, but may consider 14 if price was right.

Re: Shock Collers

Because feeding the dog cat food is much cheeper than a divorce. Besides the dog needs something to chase in the off season.

Re: Shock Collers

I'd be willing to bet you could borrow a collar for a week or two and solve that issue. Or put the cat food someplace the dog can't get to it, like maybe in the bath tub..

Re: Avery Pop up blind questions

Looks like we are taking your boat this year... I have done NOTHING with my blind this summer, still trying to figure out what I want to do with it. Like the frame just not the material I have.
