G&H Rivergator decoy/device

Anybody use the device? G&H sells an adaptor to fit most keels. I do not hunt areas where there is much wayer flow, wondering if this provides any movement?

Re: Trailer tire brand

To follow up, a Load range B tire (same size) inflates to 60 psi and is rated for 795# per tire, that total is still about 500# above my loaded jon boat. Would it make sense to use B instead of C, to...

Re: Trailer tire brand

What is also confusing is what psi to inflate the tires? Several articles state to inflate fully to max pressure- for these Load range C tires it is 90 psi! Seems too much given the quick wear on my...

Trailer tire brand

My 4.80-12 boat trailer tires need to be replaced...tread worn, some "spider web" cracks on sidewall. Only three seasons, figure 2,000 miles. Have always kept proper inflation and on concrete. These...

River Run mud motors?

I am not looking for a surface drive- but someone asked on another forum about these Florida-made line of motors. Any reviews? I did look at the website and they are not cheap compared to the other...

Re: cooler

Well, I put some 12 canned beverages and 1 ten pound bag of ice in the cooler, this filled it about halfway- I know you are supposed to fill it to the brim with ice but wanted to see initial...

Re: Federal "new" Speed shok v Ultra sho

Nothing worse than keeping such a classic shotgun gathering dust! I have a BPS 20 ga pump, an engraved model with real nice wood- silky smooth straight shooter- I will shoot that one more often-...

Re: Federal "new" Speed shok v Ultra sho

I think I could trade my shotgun collection for that one BSS 12 ga. gun. It was a great shooter, well balanced, and like you, needed that pad for a better fit. I actually took it turkey hunting with...

Re: Federal "new" Speed shok v Ultra sho

Wow- one gun I regret I sold, it was a 1981 Browning BSS 12 ga. beavertail forearm/pistol grip choked IC/MOD. Sweet and I never seemed to miss when I used it, though I used it sparingly. I did put a...

Re: cooler

Well, I looked at the Lifetime 28 up close and liked what I saw. The latch system is easier than on coolers with rubber pulls only. The gasket on the lid bottom seems to seat better than the 55 quart...

Re: Federal "new" Speed shok v Ultra sho

Like you, I have become wise and it is primarily over the decoys- IC and #3 are deadly...#4 is ok but I have to follow up more. Occasionally I team up my two 20 ga guns and use 3" #4 loads also with...

Re: Federal "new" Speed shok v Ultra sho

Used Kent before my current five year plan with Federal, nothing wrong with them at all. I like #3 shot better than #4- gets those ringers good! I might mix and match. Rio has also been a surprise-...

Federal "new" Speed shok v Ultra sho

Federal blues have been good but on the dirty side. New ones are claimed to be cleaner. Ultra shok is 30$ more per case (109$ v 129$- Rogers). Any reviews? I need 3" 12 ga #3 1 1/4 oz loads...

cooler

Like many of you, have mostly used Igloo/Coleman coolers over the years. I have been eyeing the Lifetime 28 quart cooler (76$) Yeti, Orca, Pelican are just too much $. Anyone use a Lifetime cooler?...

Re: Florida Alert! Governor DeSantis has SIGNED SB-7030

Well our county opted out and as much as I own firearms and hunt, this "cure" opens up tragic scenarios rather than preventing them. I have enough liability on my plate as a teacher. Wonder what kind...

Re: portable gas tank?

Just ordered a Moeller/Tempo 6 gallon tank with gauge- My old cap should fit the new tank. Overtons was having a sale- even with shipping cheaper than local suppliers.

Re: portable gas tank?

Just read that they now suggest a Fuel Demand Valve be fitted between the tank and the inline bulb to prevent fuel entering motor. I went to straight 1/4" id line from the tank (no quick connect just...
